The Steinway Model 45 is a professional studio upright offering the rich tonal character, responsive touch, and quality construction associated with an American-made Steinway.
The Model 45 is closely related to the Steinway 1098 and shares essentially the same professional scale and internal construction. The primary difference is its more refined furniture-style cabinet, making it especially well suited for a home, teaching studio, school, church, or professional practice room.
At approximately 46½” tall, the Model 45 provides a fuller and more powerful sound than a typical console piano while remaining compact enough for most spaces.
This instrument has been completely renovated and refurbished, including the installation of new Steinway hammers. It has been thoroughly inspected, serviced, regulated, voiced, and tuned by our technicians to provide a responsive touch, clear tonal definition, and a broad dynamic range.
The classic ebony satin cabinet has also been carefully prepared and presents beautifully.
This piano offers an opportunity to own a fully prepared New York Steinway upright at a fraction of the cost of a new Steinway.
