This Steinway & Sons Model L grand piano was originally built in 1924 and received a complete restoration in 2020 at Avery Piano Co.
The restoration was completed on site by our technicians, bringing this classic American Steinway back to a high level of musical and visual condition.
The Steinway Model L is one of Steinway’s most desirable grand piano designs, offering the depth, warmth, and power expected from a larger grand
while still remaining a practical size for many homes, studios, and teaching spaces. Some of the highlights from the restoration include a new Sitka spruce soundboard,
new Steinway action, and a hand-rubbed ebony satin finish. The result is a beautifully restored vintage Steinway with a rich, full tone, responsive touch, and elegant appearance.
This Model L offers the character and craftsmanship of an early 20th-century Steinway, combined with the benefit of major restoration work already completed.
It is a beautiful example of a restored Steinway grand piano, prepared for many years of musical enjoyment.
