Steinway Model B # 493188 was manufactured at the Steinway factory in Long Island New York. It was initially used as an Artist’s piano for 2 years. During this brief period, it was used by several Steinway artists and kept up to a high standard. Once it was sold, the new owner cared for the instrument meticulously and had all of its service performed by a Steinway concert technician.
The owners have since decided to downsize to a smaller model M and we have taken it in to sell for them.
The Piano is in excellent original condition but will receive some service-related maintenance to ensure the highest level of sound and touch.
The case is in excellent condition as well, but we are going to ensure the piano looks just as good as it sounds. All of the cabinet parts will receive a thorough cleaning along with a light re spray and touch-up as well.
Finally, all of the Brass work will receive a polish, buff, and re spray to ensure the longevity of the parts.
