Fully Restored 1952 Steinway Model B – A Concert-Grade Classic
This exceptional Steinway Model B was originally crafted in 1952 at the legendary Steinway & Sons factory in Long Island, New York. Purchased a year later from Avery Piano Co., it has now returned to us decades later for a full factory-specification restoration. Consigned by the original family, this remarkable instrument is once again ready to inspire its next home.
Over the past 12 months, our expert technicians at Avery Piano Co. completed an extensive, top-to-bottom rebuild using only genuine Steinway parts and the highest restoration standards. The result is an instrument that delivers the look, feel, and performance expected from one of the world’s most celebrated 7′ grand pianos.
Why the Steinway Model B Is Iconic
Renowned as the “gold standard” of 7-foot grands, the Model B is prized for its rich, refined tone, exceptional touch sensitivity, wide dynamic range, long sustain, and vibrant tonal color. It is the benchmark by which most professional-grade pianos are measured.
