The piano came to us in very good original condition with very little wear and use throughout the instrument. As part of our preparation, we perform regulation, voicing, and tuning of the piano to ensure the optimal sound and character are achieved. as part of our service we changed the strings to mapes strings to ensure a quality performing and sounding piano.
The interior and exterior are completely serviced to ensure a like-new condition, on the inside and out.
The Yamaha Gh1 was specifically built and designed for home use and seasoned for the USA. The gh1 has a bass sostenuto, and mapes strings (high-quality strings used in Steinway grand pianos) The Pianos action can be described as swift and precise, with plenty of speed and control.
The sound can be described as well-rounded, and full-bodied, without the typical brightness found in some Yamaha pianos.
This particular Gh1 has a much fuller, richer sound, with a highly responsive action.
